If your teeth are less than ideal, have chips or cracks, or have begun to fade, Dr. Patel is the person to see. He uses special resin dental bonding to repair decay and tooth imperfections and has advanced training in placing porcelain veneers to cover chips, cracks, or heavy staining. With our technology, we can even show you what your smile with veneers will look like before we place them on your teeth.

Dingy or faded teeth can be easily corrected with our teeth whitening services. Teeth whitening is one of the most common forms of cosmetic dentistry in Ohio. Infinite Smiles offers a variety of teeth whitening procedures, both take-home and in-office. With Zoom!, KöR, and Opalescence Boost teeth whitening solutions available, we are certain to have the one that will work best for you. KöR is one of the most powerful whitening methods available in dentistry. The treatment begins and ends in the office, but you’ll also whiten your teeth at home. KöR has been proven to improve the brightness of teeth by up to 16 shades or more.

Many adults are not happy with their smiles because of crooked teeth. While traditional metal and wire braces are available at Infinite Smiles, some people do not want to draw extra attention to their mouth, especially if they are already self-conscious about their smile. For this reason, Infinite Smiles offers alternatives to traditional braces.

Six Month Smiles is one of those alternatives. This teeth alignment method is very similar to traditional braces, with two major differences. One, Six Month Smiles adjusts only your front teeth, which are visible when you smile. This focused adjustment moves your teeth into alignment much more quickly than traditional braces. And two, this method uses clear and tooth-colored brackets and wires, so the braces are nearly invisible.

Infinite Smiles also offers Invisalign invisible braces. This method does not use brackets or wires at all. Instead, it uses a series of clear, custom-fitted tooth aligners, which fit directly over your teeth, gently moving them into proper alignment. Every couple of weeks you will wear a new aligner set to further the adjustment. Best of all, since they are clear, they are nearly impossible to see.

Having too much gum over the tooth or not enough both impact the appearance of your smile. Gum recession, a sign of periodontal disease, can pose a risk to your oral health because it exposes the roots of the teeth and cause the teeth to fail. At Infinite Smiles, we offer laser crown lengthening when too much of the gums cover the crown and the pinhole technique when the gums show signs of recession. We can reduce the level of gums by uncovering the tooth with a soft tissue laser. The laser allows us to gently reshape the area. We use lasers because they are less invasive and reduce your overall recovery time.

We have a slightly different procedure to treat receding gums. When the gums have receded too much, we use the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique. This pinhole technique is our best alternative to aggressive gum grafts. Gum grafting involves the use of scalpels and sutures, but you will not find any of that with the pinhole technique. We make a small hole in the gum and then move the gums over part of the tooth. We then fill the area with collagen strips to keep the gums from moving back toward the root of the tooth. Dr. Patel also offers gum grafting and pocket reduction surgery for patients struggling with periodontal disease.
