Dr. Neal Patel graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics, as well as his DDS. After completing his dental degree, he trained under some of the most world-renowned authorities in restorative, aesthetic, and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Patel is dedicated to combining his passion for visual arts, computer technology, and medical science into his dental practice, Infinite Smiles, in Powell, OH.
A testimony to his expertise, Dr. Patel travels extensively around this country, Canada, and overseas, training other doctors in the use of modern dental technology like 3D imaging and computer-guided implantology. He is also a leader on the forefront of dental technology, training dental professionals in the use of cutting-edge techniques such as stereolithography (3D printing method) in dental applications.
Dr. Patel started Infinite Smiles in 2008 so that he could put his passion, experience, and expertise into practice providing care directly to his patients. His mission is to provide a different kind of dentistry, one that will prove oral health care can be a pleasant, and even enjoyable, experience.
Dr. Louai Salaita completed his bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics at the University of Kentucky, and his Master’s in Physiology at the University of Arizona. Already an instructor in anatomy, physiology and histology, Dr. Salaita returned to his home state to attend dental school at West Virginia University. He quickly excelled, earning several honors, including the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Basic Science Award for having the highest cumulative GPA in his class.
In his third year of dental school, Dr. Salaita realized his passion for prosthodontics, specifically with complex cases and dental implants. He pursued specialty training at The Ohio State University under the guidance of internationally respected prosthodontists Dr. Wayne Campagni and Dr. Edwin McGlumphy, where he had the honor of being named chief resident in his third year of training.
Dr. Salaita was then appointed Clinical Instructor at The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, where he continues to enjoy teaching the next generations of dental students. Additionally, Dr. Salaita is an instructor of continuing education courses for dentists both locally and across the nation.
His research in dental implants has been published in prestigious journals, including the world’s most widely read journal in prosthodontics, the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Clinically, Dr. Salaita’s passions include cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, implant dentures and smile makeovers. As a self-admitted dental-phobe, his philosophy has always been to create personalized treatment plans that fit the specific needs of each patient in the most gentle and caring way possible.
